Last night, I had the chance to catch up with Praveen Reddy, a man I call a mentor and friend. Praveen has been there as that supporter—always believing in me, encouraging me to step up in bigger ways, to give things a go.

I remember back to the very first live event I ran; I let him know, and he was there in the front row.

If we look at quantum theory, it states that by the very act of watching, the observer affects the observed reality.

So, not only does it matter who you surround yourself with, but if they believe in you too. Knowing this has shifted things for me. It’s not only about surrounding yourself with successful people; it’s about surrounding yourself with people who believe in you too.
